Defiy difficult climate conditions

Do you require cards for a hot environment? PAV provides you with PC and PET cards. Our PC and PET cards are heat resistant up to 120 oC (248 Fahrenheit). For comparison: PVC begins to soften at about 60 oC. Moreover, PC and PET are more durable materials than PVC. They have excellent flex strenght and vastly superior impact strength. A higher durability and longer card service – up to 10 years – than PVC cards result in fewer card replacements over time. This is the reason why both materials enjoy a big popularity.

Since many years PAV is involved in a lot of card projects, which are based on PC and PET production like the identity card for the police department in Abu Dhabi. The authority needs cards which are very heat-resistant. In the summer the air temperature in the Arabic state climbs up to 45 oC, in the car even up to 65 oC.

Furthermore, we supply car park carriers in South America and Europe with parking cards and governments with the production of inlays for national ID applications.
